Abstract

AbstractEctopic adrenal tissue (EAT) is an extremely unusual finding. The most common site is the genitourinary tract and pelvis, and more frequently in males than females. In our report, we discuss an ectopic adrenal cortical tissue detected in the descending mesocolon in an elderly female. To the best of our knowledge, this case is the first report in the English literature.
