Abstract
Respiratory anatomy, specifically the nose, is an important anatomical landmark, as well as common source of pathological abnormalities. The cell type, blood supply, and nerve supply all play various roles in the function of the nose, and these critical factors are described regarding individual significance in numerous pathological. Therapeutic considerations are described in the treatment of epistaxis, rhinitis, and nasal polyps, including pharmacological management strategy as well as surgical treatments.
