Abstract
Abstract
Between-bottle variation in relation to analytical error in the determination of constituents of the same batch of quality control serum has been examined statistically for sera from two manufacturers. Calcium and chloride were measured. Variation between bottles—as a result of errors in dispensing the original serum, lack of homogeneity, or reconstitution error—is less than the analytical error of the methods used here.
