Abstract
Abstract
A radioimmunoassay of plasma digoxin is described, in which iodine-125 labeled digoxin is used as tracer. The assay is rapid, precise, sensitive, and specific, and can readily cope with a large number of plasma samples. The use of iodinated digoxin increases assay sensitivity, shortens counting time, and eliminates the problems associated with liquid scintillation counting. The performance of this method is compared with that of other assay systems involving the use of tritiated compounds.
