Abstract

ABSTRACT The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) possesses significant expertise with rehabilitation of combat injured personnel. This is an area of growing interest with Global Health Engagement (GHE), particularly in countries with active conflict such as Ukraine. Effective rehabilitation can contribute to both development and security, and by leveraging its inherent expertise via rehabilitation-based GHE, the DoD can contribute to these strategic objectives.
