Abstract

Abstract This letter presents a critical appraisal of a recent systematic review article published in Journal of Public Health. Systematic reviews are particularly important research articles that can meaningfully influence policy and research in the field due to their scientific value. We aimed to bring attention to certain methodological issues in this review that affect the validity of the findings on the very important topic of areca nut use and cessation.
