Abstract
Abstract
anti-[2.2](1,4)Triphenylenophane was synthesized by the Pd-catalyzed double cross-coupling of 4,5,12,13-tetrabromo[2.2]paracyclophane with 9,9-dimethyl-9-stannafluorene. There have been no reports on the synthesis of simple triphenylene-stacked molecules in the 75-year history of cyclophane. Its structure and properties were experimentally and theoretically studied.
