Abstract

Abstract This introductory article discusses the current state of scholarship about global misinformation and disinformation, highlighting key actors that researchers study, common research questions, and differences between within-country and between-country mis/disinformation. It also provides an overview of the 8 submissions in the International Journal of Public Opinion’s special issue on Global Misinformation and Disinformation.
