Abstract
In this chapter, we combine the parametric oscillator, force noise, and linear coupling to study coupled parametric oscillators. Depending on the strength of the parametric pump (below or above threshold) and on the intensity of the coupling (weak or strong), we find different phenomena, such as normal-mode squeezing, parametric symmetry breaking induced by the coupling, and hopping between many-body phase states. Networks of parametric oscillators are envisioned as a computational resource, and we briefly discuss possible challenges of the approach.
