Abstract
Abstract
This chapter discusses the final years of Ibn Sina's life. During his stay in Isfahan, Ibn Sina completed the last three volumes of The Canon of Medicine and the final sections of The Cure. Then, he focused on writing works that revolved around metaphysics to elaborate on human consciousness and God. Ibn Sina also indulges in drinking and carousing during his stay in Hamadan. The chapter considers Ibn Sina's personality, solitary and sustained feuds, and grudges. It explores the considerations of whether Ibn Sina had been murdered or not by a slave, who was suspected of adding opium to his concoctions.
