Abstract
Abstract

We focus on annualized hours agreements, which provide managers with a strategy for extending workers’ temporal availability. First, however, and in order to begin to explore some of the consequences of this temporal redefinition of the employment relationship, let us consider the following examples, in which managers describe some of the difficulties encountered in implementing annualized hours.
