Abstract
Abstract
Remembering and knowing are two subjective states of awareness associated with memory. Remembering refers to intensely personal experiences of the past-those in which we seem to recreate previous events and experiences with the awareness of reliving these events and experiences mentally. Remembering entails mental time travel that intimately engages one’s sense of self.
