Abstract
Abstract
Chapter 6 is devoted to writing and representation, given its importance in qualitative research. In this chapter the authors emphasize that writing is a vital part of qualitative research and make an argument for writing as method. The authors ask readers to think deeply about their writing process, to create a regular writing practice that becomes a habit, and to focus on form, function, style, and audience in their writing. The chapter addresses the typical format of a qualitative research article and notes the importance of considering citational practices. The authors describe various ways in which readers can use arts-based research presentation in their work.
