Time, Complexity and the Human Condition

Abstract

Abstract Where we discuss the profund connections between Time and Complexity, particularly the idea that time is an emergent property which can only be perceived by organisms beyond a minimum threshold of complexity. Humans belong, which brings hope but also anxiety for a future we cannot tell ahead. Most importantly, it brings awareness of our own mortality, and the way we react to this burden, largely defines who we are.
