Abstract
Abstract
A Weed can be defined as ‘a plant (or group of plants) which is not desired at its place of occurrence’ (Coordinatiecommissie Onkruidonderzoek, 1984). Although ‘not desired’ may in general be referred to ‘not desired by man’, the definition could be narrowed to ‘not desired by the manager(s) of the area where the particular plant(s) occurs’.
