Abstract
Abstract
Inherent in the organization of health services by level of care (primary, secondary, tertiary) is the idea that there is a point of entry each new time care is needed for a health problem and that this point of entry must be easily accessible. In current parlance, this point of first contact is known as the gatekeeper.
