Abstract
Abstract
The Five-Stage Model is an assessment tool that is used for guiding the evaluator in their review of records, their clinical interviews, their psychological testing and testing interpretation, their report writing, and their testimony in evaluations that are conducted in the context of tort and civil rights cases. Although the Five-Stage Model has been detailed at great length in previous work, the purpose of this chapter is to apply this model to personal injury case example. In this chapter, we demonstrate how it can assist the evaluator in producing a comprehensive and coherent opinion that is forensically useful.
