Abstract
The present research paper provides the outcomes of calculating the kinematic parameters of freight train movement using the graphical method on a virtual hilly section of a high-speed railroad when moving without stopping and with stops at the intermediate and end stations. Values of energy efficiency indicators for UzTE16M3 diesel locomotives in quantitative and monetary terms when driving a freight train of a unified train mass are obtained. The research results are presented in the form of tabular data and will be implemented by the specialists of the locomotive complex when justifying the efficiency of UzTE16M3 diesel locomotives in real operating conditions.
