Abstract

This paper is concerned with the redevelopment of methods for assessing cities for compliance with Smart City requirements. The basis of the study is the reduction of the number of factors (indicators). Regarding pre-developed methods, it should be noted that the assessment is carried out according to four groups of factors (indicators), the number of which is 31. Taking into account the large amount of research that needs to be carried out to determine, calculate, and analyze these several indicators, it is proposed to update the mentioned evaluation methodology by reducing the number of considered indicators as much as it is practicable. The research objective is to improve the methods of assessing cities for compliance with Smart City requirements.
