Abstract
The IoT-Enabled Smart Cabin for People with Disabilities project aims to improve the living experience for individuals with mobility and sensory challenges. By using the Internet of Things (IoT), the project creates an intelligent living space that adapts to the unique needs of people with disabilities, enhancing their independence, safety, and overall quality of life. The smart cabin uses a network of sensors to monitor the environment and automatically adjust lighting, temperature, and other conditions to meet residents’ preferences. Customizable living spaces with adaptable furniture and infrastructure allow residents to tailor their environment to their specific needs. User-friendly communication interfaces ensure easy interaction within the cabin and with the outside world. Additionally, the system uploads data to the cloud for efficient monitoring and management. This project represents a major step toward creating inclusive and accessible living environments, empowering individuals with disabilities and promoting universal design principles.
