Abstract
The economy of a modern state, the flagship of which is the digital industry, requires the use of approaches and methods of system management in the most important aspects of its development, one of which is the formation of human capital. The article examines the features of the system of human capital formation in the digital industry, develops a basic scheme of its main components and relationships, and offers arguments in favor of applying approaches and principles of the theory of systems limitation for its management and development. The purpose and objectives of the application of this theory are formulated, promising research directions for the formalization of the theory and its adaptation to the task are identifi ed.
