ON CONCEPTUAL APPROACHES TO THE ANALYSIS OF ECONOMIC INEQUALITY OF REGIONS

Abstract

The article is concentrated on the conceptual approaches to regions economic inequality analysis, the main regions inequality conceptions in relation with generally accepted paradigms are regarded, an assessment is given to insufficient elaboration level and to the ability to be the basis of economic policy effective measures. The inconsistency of number of conclusions applied to market realities is underlined. It is noted that the regions endowment of natural resources in Russian conditions does not act as a regional inequality cause. It is indicated the variety of conditions and factors affecting region inequality which is not yet reflected in existing conceptual approaches.
