Abstract

An acoustic stethoscope is used to monitor the patient's heart sounds. Stethoscope generally serves as a medium for detecting pathogens in patients. Many studies on digital stethoscopes use condenser microphones to detect heart sound signals whether using wireless systems or not. The purpose of this study was to compare the performance of low-cost stethoscopes with two Bluetooth types of HC05, and HC06, in which researchers evaluated the amount of data transmitted, baud rate, and different distances via wireless transmission to facilitate the diagnosis of medical personnel. process to the patient. There is no reduction in the function of the device so doctors can still see pathogen signals from patients even at a distance. The system is built by transmitting data via Bluetooth and the signal is displayed and recorded on a personal computer. The statistical comparison of the two types of Bluetooth between types HC05 and HC06 obtained test results p > 0.05 which indicates that there is no significant difference between the results of sending hc05 and HC06 using baud levels of 9600, 38400, and 115200. However, data loss in trials using HC-06 in terms of biosignals can be detrimental to the patient because it eliminates the patient's heart sound information data. In this study, it can be considered that the use of HC05 is better than HC06.
