Abstract

Sustainable ecosystem organizes itself to fit in the environment by assimilating nature energy with little technology help, water ecosystem in the Mengqing park is such a nature system which integrate both biodiversity and economic values together. The work of designing of water ecosystem in Mengqing park is conceptually based on the theory of ecological engineering, presents the natural principles of ecosystem design, discusses seven major ecological indicators including hydrology, soil substrate, oxygen, vegetation, biotical, chemical, and bank construction.
