Abstract

Advanced technologies are the most efficient means of reducing environment burden in the location of sugar factories. They include extensive use of recirculation systems minimizing wastewater effluents together with the modernization of production equipment and processes. Expansion of water recycling is a significant stage in the development of zero-discharge sugar production process, which makes it a good contributor into water resource protection.
