Abstract
A food sorting robot based on a mobile platform was developed. The design indexes, mechanical and control system structure was given. The workspace of the proposed robot was simulated. The experiments results of the position accuracy of the end of the robot proved that the developed food sorting robot based on the mobile platform is designed reasonably and can operation accurately.
