Abstract
Frequently wiggle of wrists is the primary cause of muscle fatigue and occupational diseases in the computer keyboard operation. It is revealed that the wiggle of wrist is caused by the workspace limit of finger tip. Based on the movement study and workspace analysis for human finger, a new type of computer keyboard designed with ergonomic consideration is put out. A tilting keyboard is used in the new configuration to fit the shape of finger workspace. It was approved by experiment that the new keyboard could reduce the rotation of wrist obviously, therefore to improve the comfort and avoid disorder of the wrist during operation.
