Abstract
In this article we explained why it is reasonable to create a layered surface composition using multicomponent materials with shape memory effect (SME) to improve reliability, durability and extend the life cycle of mechanical engineering products. We developed and patented hardware and technological solutions in order to test the composition formation technology. These solutions help us to form the layers made of shape memory materials, which have gradient distribution of properties and capabilities in a single vacuum cycle. We demonstrated ample opportunities of complex surface composition method with shape memory materials, including mechanical activation, high-velocity oxygen-fuel spraying (HVOF), thermal and thermomechanical processing. This allows us to create nanostate and maintain functional and mechanical properties of shape memory materials. As an example, we demonstrated the results of statistical simulation of HVOF technology by shape memory material Ti51Ni44Cu5, that was made by means of algorithmic planning and allowed us to optimize treatment modes according to the following criteria: adhesive strength, porosity and nanostructured state.
