Study on Chromium Sorption from Wastewater Using Activated Carbon Loaded Metal

Abstract

The advance of research on activated carbon loaded metal at home and abroad was depicted. The method and character of activated carbon loaded metal was also investigated systematically. Based on the sorption mechanism, it was briefly introduced that application on removal chromium from wastewater using modified activated carbon. Finally, the work pointed the exist problems that is how to reduce cost and optimize process, how to regenerate and reuse activated carbon, and how to increase utilization activated carbon.
