Application of Simulation Technology on Airport System

Abstract

With the rapid development of aviation industry which leads to a continuous expansion of the airport and an increasing throughput growth has brought more and more problems to the regular operations of the airport and traffic control. Since simulation can accurately predict the future tendency of a system, especially those complex and stationary systems about airports, it can reduce the waste of recourses and inconvenience to passengers caused by policy mistakes. The article overviews the status of the research on airport simulation technology and summarizes the application of simulation technology in airport system, furthermore, points out the shortage and development of airport simulation.
