Analysis on Unified Specification of Engineering Quantities Calculation in Practice

Abstract

Engineering quantities calculation should be as a branch of program evaluation science. Four modernizations on engineering quantities calculation are computerization, simplification, normalization and modularization. Computerization instead of arithmetic simplifies quantity calculation. Normalization improves calculation speed on the preconditions of correctness and accuracy. Modularization ensures calculation integrity.The example illustrating the usage and accuracy of the four modernizations is given.
