Abstract
A novel and efficient method for the preparation of AZT 5'-selenophosphoramidates has been developed. Silylation of AZT 5'-H-phosphonamidates, followed by oxidative coupling and hydrolysis afforded 5'-selenophosphoramidates of AZT in good yields.
