Abstract

The paper reviews the research results of the fan noise in recent years, including both achievements acquired and problems existed. The domestic and overseas researches of fan noise mechanism mainly focus on air dynamic noise. However, the fan noise control method expounds the problem from three aspects, namely, the modern design manufacturing application in noise reduction, new material new structure used in noise reduction, and active noise reduction. Finally, the paper prospects the main development direction of fan noise reduction.
