Abstract
3-hydroxyflavone (3-HF) is a kind of organic molecule with excited state proton transfer (EFPT) effect, and is a good performance nonlinear optical material. In this paper, the nonlinear refractive index and two-proton absorption coefficient of 3-HF were measured by using z-scan technique with ps pulsed laser at 355nm and 532nm respectively. In the experiment, we observed that the two-proton absorption coefficient was decreased as the incident intensity was increased.
