The Design and Experimental Study of the Laser with Peak Power

Abstract

With a view to obtain a compact laser jammer, we have conducted the design of solid laser with peak power, designed the light-gathering cavity by means of ZEMAX software and analyzed the heat effect of active medium by means of LAS-CAD software. According to the design result, we operated a specific experiment, thus obtaining the peak power laser with a volume of 0.009m3, a repeated frequency of 1Hz and a single pulse power of 25MW.
