Abstract

Synthetic aperture radar seeker (SARS) is the extension in the field of the synthetic aperture technology, and now has become a hot spot in the research and development of radar seeker. In this paper we summarized the research of the SARS related system and imaging guidance related technology. We analyzed the way of long range ballistic missile using matched guidance at the front stage of ballistic trajectory and using target search guidance at the end of ballistic trajectory. Finally we prospect the direction of SARS development.
