Abstract

This paper analyzes the main theories and methods of the mechanical design, proposes that the design of mechanism scheme should be started from the Functional Analysis of mechanical product to seek functional solution and expand design ideas, proposes a design process model of mechanism scheme based on Functional Analysis (FA) to realize optimal design of mechanism scheme. In this model, description and decomposition of general function, function solving, functional evaluation and optimization were included. Taking scheme design of Li-ion battery bushing device as an example, this paper discussed the optimal method of mechanism scheme based on functional analysis. In order to obtain the most optimal scheme of bushing function, various mechanisms are conceived and proposed, analyzed and evaluated, the optimal mechanism scheme is selected.
