Abstract
Considering the limitation of the existing method of engine controller’s development, a method to establish a virtual test system of engine controller was proposed. Firstly, a virtual engine controller was developed in ETAS INTECRIO environment and a vehicle system was developed in Matlab/Simulink environment, they composed a closed loop system. Then the system was validated by compared the simulation results of the virtual test system with the vehicle test results and the hardware-in-the-loop simulation results. The comparison results show that the system established by this method could satisfy the test requirement in the early controller development stage. This system has the advantage of higher convenience and lower cost and can significantly improve the efficiency of the engine controller development.
