Abstract

The principles of SNCR process and factors affecting the denitrification efficiency are described in details. The efficiency and cost of SNCR and SCR processes are briefly compared. SNCR process has advantages of short construction period, low investment cost and so on. If the discharge standard is hard to meet, coupling SNCR with other NOx control methods can be considered to reduce NOx emission. Based on the complex circumstance of units in China, SNCR process is very suitable for application in industry.
