Value Engineering-Based Selection Strategies of Real Estate Development Scheme

Abstract

There are usually more than one development schemes available in the process of the real estate development, and the optimization on the schemes is directly connected with the investment benefit of the whole project. Hence, using value engineering principle to optimize development schemes of real estate has great and practical significance. This paper, based on the basic principle of value engineering, firstly builds the new models of construction schemes for comparision, then makes a comprehensive analysis on its function and cost, and at last selects the development scheme which has better comprehensive result through quantitative method. Meanwhile, the process is verified and systematically analized through a real example.
