Abstract
Aiming at the application of lighting source for laser active detection and imaging application, spectral beam combining technology is adopted in order to meet the requirements of the light spots which have an excellent performance in far field. The selection principle of beam combining methods is expound. Furthermore, the beam combining models are built, and the performance in 5km is simulated in the research. The results of analysis indicate that only Spectral Beam Combining (SBC) of laser diode could combine different wavelengths laser beams and have an obvious advantage in speckle reducing, which can lead to a much more homogeneous image in range gated laser active imaging application.
