Abstract

Using the integrated method of finite element and multi-body dynamics to build leaf spring model considering assembly pre-stress. Based on the stiffness testing platform, the simulation platform has been built. Finally , the experiment results verified the stiffness simulation results. The results show that the leaf spring model considering assembly pre-stress accords to the leaf spring property,the simulation result agrees with the experiment result and verify the accuracy of the modeling method. The results from the stiffness simulation platform and the test platform have high consistency, so the simulation platform can be used for the stiffness testing of leaf spring like this.
