Study on the Shading Property of the Fabric

Abstract

In order to study the shading property of the fabric, there are several parameters of the fabrics were tested, they are include the transmission and reflectivity for the Ultraviolet light, the transmission and reflectivity for the visible light. From the test results, following conclusions can be gotten: under same situation, the percent of void for the fabric will affect the transmission of the Ultraviolet light and the visible light. When the interweaving frequency is bigger and the float is shorter, the reflectivity of the Ultraviolet light is lower and the reflectivity of the visible is higher.
