Abstract

In this paper the progress on research of visible light response TiO2 photocatalyst was summarized. From the perspectives of positive ion doping, nonmetal elements doping, precious metals deposit, dye photosensitization and new type composite photocatalyst, the paper investigated the preparation, photocatalysis mechanism, effects and shortcomings of the concerned material. The research situation, progress and prospects of visible light response TiO2 photocatalyst were described systematically.
