Abstract
A unified mechanism describing formation of Ps and Mu atoms in condensed matter, radiolytic hydrogen in water and products of Auger ionization in Moessbauer atoms is presented. All these processes are similar to the Ps formation mechanism in a condensed molecular milieu.
