Abstract
In this paper, we propose a method that automatically designs an analog lter tosatisfy target specication. Using a genetic algorithm, circuits that satisfy target specicationcan automatically be identied. Moreover using this method output of any phase can be achievedfor the analog lter working in any frequency band. For example, this method has been usedto automatically design the analog lter that generates constant phase of -/2[rad] at terminalVout1 and /2[rad] at terminal Vout2 for a frequency band of 100MHz to 300MHz, and also phaseof -/6[rad] and /6[rad] for a frequency band of 100MHz to 300MHz. In both cases relativeerrors of target phase was less than 5%.
