Design of Remote Monitoring and Control System for Mine Water Storehouse Based on PLC

Abstract

The monitoring of mine water storage plays key role in preventing flood hazards and Well accidents. This paper proposes a design of Water Storehouse remote monitoring control system which based on siemens S7-200 PLC and its configuration software WinCC. Profibus-DP fieldbus is uses to realize the data communication between PLC and computer. Then the system hardware design and software design are introduced in detail. Finally, Real-time Monitoring on water level of storehouse was realized through the laboratory simulation, meanwhile, alarm information, real-time trend curve, historical curve and data report, etc were generated. This design has advantages of high degree of automation, easy expanding, reliable, easy installation, etc, which provides guarantee for mine drainage system integration of management, control and monitoring.
