Abstract
The aim of this research is to determine the usability of the Batıya Doğru Akan Nehir documentary, which has a comprehensive content, in Social Studies courses by examining it from the point of view of the achievements in the Social Studies Curriculum. The research is structured according to the document analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The study group of the study consists of a documentary on the Batıya Doğru Akan Nehir and the Curriculum of the Social Studies Course of 2018. During the collection of research data, the research used the method of document analysis model evaluated both as data collection tools, data analysis, descriptive analysis have been used, and the associated gains in the form of direct quotations from the documentary section is presented. As a result of the research; documentary sections can be associated with a total of 29 different achievements, Cultural and Heritage learning areas can be associated in 49 different places, and the maximum number of associations is 6. It was determined that the class was in the Social Studies course. 5, 6, as the subject flow of the documentary parallels the topics in the Social Studies Curriculum. and 7. it was found that it is available at grade levels and is parallel to the content of the Social Studies Textbook.
