Abstract
✓ A case is reported in which a tumor mass in the cerebellopontine angle contained elements of a ganglioneuroma and a rhabdomyosarcoma. The mass was continuous with highly malignant tissue eroding the middle ear and the face. The latter tissue and pulmonary metastases were histologically identical to rhabdomyosarcoma. This and eight other comparable cases are considered examples of single tumors containing both neoplastic ganglion cells and rhabdomyoblasts. These elements might be expected in tumors arising from ectomesenchyme.
