UNSTRUCTURED
Efficient data exchange and management are crucial for interdisciplinary research settings, particularly in medical research, where diverse imaging modalities, file formats, and data sizes are ever-present. However, established data collaboration platforms that fully satisfy the research community's diverse demands are scarce. Thus, we introduce our publicly available and portable PACS2go: a research Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). The platform enables researchers to store, view, and exchange medical imaging data formats, such as DICOM and NIfTI, and facilitates metadata integration to increase the data's utility for research. With its intrinsic usability and effective data and metadata management, PACS2go pushes forward in supporting collaborative interdisciplinary research efforts.
